Cairo

Cairo is the capital city of Egypt and the largest city in the Arab world and the African Continent. This city is also known as "the city that never sleeps" of "the mother of all cities". Cairo has a population of more than 7 million people and is situated on the banks of the famous River Nile.

Cairo International Airport receives the tourist that visit Egypt and is the second airport that has the most traffic in Africa. Cairo is the only city on the continent that has an underground metro, and has extensive train and road networks.

Place that are important to visit are the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza, Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura, the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque, the Coptic Cairo that has several Churches and the Citadel of Salah Ed-Din.

Other places that are recommended are the Alabaster Mosque, the Great Bazaar, the City of the Dead, the Hanging Church and the Al-Muzzi Street etc.
