Moscow

Moscow is the capital city of Russia and for many years was the capital city of the old Soviet Union and the USSR. The population of Moscow is approximately 11 million people and it the largest city in Russia and Europe.

In the last few years, Moscow has become the cradle of millionaires and this is the city where the highest number of them can be found. This is mainly due to the power of its raw material. The city is situated on the banks of the River Moscova.

You cannot miss seeing the Kremlin that was a fort for the ancient Russian Tsars and inside the Kremlin you can find various beautiful Churches and Palaces. Next to the Kremlin you can walk through the Red Square that is a symbol of the city. Here you can see the Saint Basil Cathedral, the National History Museum and the GUM, one of the largest department stores in the world.

Moscow has numerous Monasteries and Churches. Here you can find the Church of the Miracle Worker, Ascension of Christ, the Lavra of the Holy Trinity of St. Sergius, and the Saint Daniel Church. The metro in Moscow is really impressive as it maintains the decoration of the epoch that makes its passageways stand out. If you want to enjoy nature and relax, you can take a walk around the Gorky Park.
