New York City, with a population of more than 8 million people, is the most populated city in the USA. Together with Paris, London and Tokyo, New York is one of the main business centres of the world where we can find the headquarters of multitudes of companies and the New York Stock Exchange that is locate on Wall Street.
New York stands out for its green spaces enjoyed by New Yorkers and foreigners and we must highlight Central Park in Manhattan and the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens which is the second most important park in New York.
New York divides into various districts (boroughs), the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. New York has the biggest metro line in the world and has good road and railways networks. The most important way for tourists to come New York is by one of the three airports, the J.F. Kennedy, the Newark Liberty and La Guardia.
We cannot leave New York without visiting the following places; Empire State Building, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Staten Island Ferry, Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, New York Public Library, MoMA, the American Museum of Natural History, Greenwich Village, Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
