Seoul

Seoul is the capital city of the Korea Republic and situated to the northeast of Korea and the River Han passes through the city. Seoul has a population of more than 10 million people.

Seoul is the economic, financial and political centre of Korea and one of the most important in Asia. The headquarters of several occidental businesses and governmental organizations can be found in this city.

The foreign tourists come to Seoul through the Inchon International Airport. Seoul has a very modern metro considered the most extensive and with the most traffic in the world.

You must visit the palaces in Seoul and they are the Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, Gyeongbokgung, and Gyeonghuigung. Also of interest are the Korea National Museum and the War Memorial. The temples and mausoleums that will impress you are the Jongmyo, Dongmyo, Munmyo, Jogyesa, Hwagyesa, and Bongeunsa.
